The Power of A Woman

Men chase after women all the time. If you look at any movie on television most of the them they have a man chasing a women or a man that is in love with a women, somewhere within the storyline. Women have the power to give life, to nurture, use their intuition and do all the things that men can do too, so why is it that in this day and age we see women chasing after men? All of these reality shows on tv of women vying for a man's affection just blows my mind. When did it get like this? Women are dressing slutty to get a man's attention and then saying it's okay to be oversexualized. Women fighting other women for a man?  Who taught women that this was okay? If I'm not mistaken it was a man who came up with the idea and created the women's store we all know as Victorias' Secret. He had a vision of what a woman should wear on her body and made money off of it. This is the same thing that I believe is going on with women's minds and the reason that they are settling for less than they are worth. If women would stand up and not just put up with men's crap then there would be a standard and men would act accordingly.
If you think about it, when a man has sex with a bunch of different partners it is accepted in society as a okay, he's just labeled as a ladies' man or player, but if a women does the same she is labeled a hoe. Men are putting these titles on women to control them, because as soon as a women is labeled a hoe no man wants to date her, but who came up with this? Men of course! You even have women caling other women sluts and hoes, meanwhile men are sticking together having a good laugh at this. I'm not saying that it should be okay to sleep around, but if men are doing it too they need to be dogged just as much. They need to be held accountable for their actions just as much as women have to take the blame, but the only way that this will change is if women don't put up with men's crap! Women need to raise themselves to a higher standard and then they will be able to get the type of man that they want. Don't get me wrong both genders are at fault, but i feel like women have the power to change that completely and are just feeding into the male dominated society that we live in.  So why is it so hard for women to see that?

  1. WOW! This is a man hating post. Are you really saying that men created all the issues in the woman community? If so, I disagree to the up most power. Women are treated accoring to how they present themselves. A man cannont mistreat you, if you don't allow it. The Victoria Secret comment Smh. Really?! -_- Just because a man makes the clothes targeted for women doesn't mean that is the standard we are forced to live by. You decide whether or not to purchase and then wear the clothing. Why do you think men can't live without us? You think a simple smile is all it is? NO! It's a cycle. Girl dresses in a way to compliment her shape which attracts attention. Now that she has his attention she can try to redirect that focus on her mind. It goes both ways. Women treat other women like shxt! What kind of example are females setting for themselves if they treat their own kind without respect? Since when woman chase men?!!!!!??? Typically it's the other way around but that doesn't mean it never happened. Let's be realistic. Women are strong and should be praised but not all women are worth that much credit. In the words of Katt Williams "How can I mess up your self-esteem? It's called self-esteem. It's esteem of you muthaloving self." Are that pathetic that we can't take responsibility for our own actions? Don't get me wrong, men share the blame but this post was just mind blowing due to both sides not being explained. (Sigh) Both male and females conform to the needs or wants of society. No matter who started what, who follows is where the problem lies.

  2. [S|N] I aqree that some of the stigma placed on women are male based but as a woman you have to decide facts & what to live by.

  3. Regardless of woman or man, it is up to u to decide what kind of impression u leave on people that u meet regardless of gender. if you come off as a "hoe" people will act accordingly, regardless of gender.

Also, media does NOT guarantee any truth whatsoever. Jus because its on tv doesnt mean its real( which it never is). DO u kno WHY its always a man chasing a woman? its entertainment. research the highest demographic of consumers. Suprise! women.
you make a fairy tale that is appealing to women, it will sell. [ tyler perry ]
point blank. the perspective that is held here is the perspective of a person that is doesnt analyze from the inside out. if you have a problem with somebody[ relationships, friends, or hoes], the best way to approach it to EXAMINE YOURSELF because thats what you have the most control over.
And men aint dirtbags yo, Jus like it takes a superimposing male to degrade women, it also takes women with MINIMAL self-respect and love to actually submit to that.
yea. dude did make victorias secret.
FEMALES made that store recession-proof. and i will end on a quote i try to live by [source unknown]
" its a given that problems plague the world, in order to change that, we must first learn how to CHANGE OURSELVES"
    stop pointing fingers.
    elevate your awareness.
    break the cycle

  5. What does a man being the creator of victoria secret have anything to do with womens self worth in society? As Jeff previously stated victoria secret would not be in buisness if women did not shop there continuously. You as an individual have the right to not support a buisness that goes against your beliefs. However I dont think panties are the cause of destruction of women in society...Now a BETTER argument would have been that a man created the high heel which is uncomfortable and causes minor health issues. But again you have a personal decision to not wear or purchase it, its really your fault for feeding into the hype everyone should stop always blaming society and not taking personal responsibility.
